Use These Special Days To Make Learning Fun

When I was in school, I looked forward to holiday celebrations as a chance to eat cookies

and take a break from the monotony of class work. However, as a homeschooler, I now realize

that I can homeschool holidays to enhance our study of culture and history.

In our home, we use holidays to read fiction and nonfiction books, watch holiday specials

and documentaries, and work on fun projects. Here are some suggestions for holiday
